Bonn, 28th August 2025 – steep GmbH has implemented a short-term technical training course in automotive mechatronics on behalf of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Together with the Office for Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT) and a Moroccan vocational school, steep GmbH developed and conducted practical train-the-trainer measures in Casablanca. In doing so, the company enables local trainers to sustainably and independently pass on their knowledge.

Cooperation for sustainable training

The project was part of the initiative ‘Supporting regular labour migration and mobility between North Africa and Europe’. ‘We are delighted that this project has given us the opportunity to work with GIZ for the first time and contribute our expertise in the field of technical training,’ explains Philipp Beier, project manager at steep GmbH. ‘The combination of practical training and sustainable trainer qualification is an approach that is of great importance for the development of skilled workers.’
