The steep Antenna De-Icing System ensures the reliable operation of parabolic antennas even under extreme temperatures as low as -40°F. This enables year-round operation of microwave links at exposed, high-altitude, or windy locations without issues. Even under the most adverse weather conditions, signal transmission remains stable and failure-free.
Innovative Technologies for Maximum Safety
Developed and manufactured in Germany by steep GmbH, the system combines an intelligent heating system with a specially adapted GRP protective cover. The heating power automatically adjusts to the ambient temperature, effectively preventing ice formation. At the same time, the robust protective cover shields the antenna from ice impact and bird damage.
Universal Applications
The steep Antenna De-Icing System is suitable for all common parabolic antennas ranging from 0.3 to 3.0 meters in diameter. Installation is straightforward via a standardized 230 V connection. For larger systems, we offer customized control cabinet solutions. Thanks to our production facility in Bonn, we can also implement customer-specific adaptations for special requirements.
